Because the visibility at night is low, and many sanitation work clothes are too old or improperly washed, the effect of the reflective strips is poor.

The "National Standard GB20653 for Occupational High Visibility Warning Clothing" regulates occupational warning clothing in terms of style, width and area of reflective materials, and retroreflective performance, and it was implemented in 2007. It stipulates that the width of reflective strips on warning clothing shall not be less than 5 cm, and the minimum area of reflective material: Level 3 warning clothing (0.20㎡), Level 2 warning clothing (0.13㎡), Level 1 warning clothing (0.10㎡).

To detect the effect of reflective strips of sanitation clothing, the core data is the inverse coefficient, and a retroreflective experiment must be done. The experiment requires that the instrument must be able to accurately control the incident angle of the light source and the observation angle of the light detector. In fact, there are no relevant instruments in many places.

In fact, whether it is the reflective clothing used by public security or sanitation workers, that is, a high-molecular substance with a fluorescent reflection effect is pasted on the cloth strip. These substances are exposed to the outside for a long time, and are exposed to wind and sun. In addition, because sanitation workers often wash dirty clothes in the working environment, these substances are worn or fall off, resulting in no reflective effect.

Therefore, when customizing reflective work clothes, not only should it comply with GB20653, but also pay attention to protection during use.
